  Playback jumps to end

  All of a sudden, any attempt to play a Cineform Aspect encoded clip in either Premiere 2 or 3 just jumps to the end, whether in the souce monitor or the timeline/program monitor. The original HDV/mpeg clips play fine in other projects. I’m guessing something changed outside of Premiere, since both versions exhibit the same behavior, but I don’t have a clue where to begin looking. I’ve tried clearing preferences to no effect. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
