  Playback issue with h264 movies on server

  We have a series of H264 movies outputted from Camtasia and we are having an intermittent playback issue during testing.

  The movie themselves are outputs of PPT webinars and the files sizes are very small. Most 1 hour programs are no more than 100mg because they are all 1 frame per second.

  The files are hosted on an Amazon S3 server, loading into several Digital Access Pass Templates using FlowPlayer as the default video player.

  Some machines we tested on load instantly; someone else tries at a different location and the video stalls at the beginning for 5-8 seconds before it starts.

  I can’t find anything that would cause the random problem. I even outputted some of the files again and used a different extension and no difference. Camtasia will use mp4 or mov.

  I can’t find a pattern with this. I would doubt that its a server issue especially considering the small file sizes.

  Any ideas?
