Playback Freezes w/ Beach Ball
I have a Mac Pro 2.26 Xeon 8-Core With Final Cut 7.0.2. I have been editing some HDV footage for 4 hours this morning with no problems. Suddenly, I try playing back my footage and get the beach ball. I have to force quit. Since, I have tried restarting, trashing preferences, fixing permissions, checking the disk, nothing works. Even trying to playback the slug that Final Cut starts with brings the beach ball. Scrubbing works fine, it just happens when I try playback. Also, Quicktime on the same files works fine.
Any ideas?

whenever I see that its because the easy setup doesn’t match the sequence setting.
