    PLAYABLE BD-R SET-TOP PLAYERS?

    Hello,

    Curious to know if anyone has a DEFINITIVE list of set-top Blu-Ray players (model # would be great as well) that will successfully play a burned BD-R created in Adobe Encore and burned with Toast 9.2. We have a client that is requesting this information for a current project.

    So far the only player I’m certain of is the Sony PS3.

    There is no definitive list that I know of. However, I can tell you that Sharps players will not play burnt BD-R/RE discs. LG players need a firmware update, Some older Samsung players cannot play them without a firmware update.
