Play stops or skips over sections of frames in preview.
I finished a 38sec. video and it always played through as expected.
When I returned to it a few hours later…only 600frames “green” the rest black…and it starts over looping to the beginning.
I can get sections to play but not all together start to finish?I opened a previous auto-saved project and the same thing happens on the older versions.
AE cc2015 13.5
Macbook Pro 10.10.5
Designated cache file and 8GB of RAM. -

you can tick the ‘from current time’ box in the preview panel to ram preview from the point of the playhead.

You may not have enough RAM to preview your entire video at once. Lower the resolution to half and try it. If you preview it all, then come back later and it’s not all “green” to preview, your computer has likely reallocated some RAM for something else.
