    Hi everyone,
I just wanted to know if it is possible to go to and play specific frames of a pre comp as if you were treating it like a mc in flash.

Hi there, Thanks very much for the cool tutorial, it gave me a some ideas for a few other things. I am looking for a more dynamic solution here though. Essentialy i would like to have specific frames play dictated by a variable like camera x position. Say if i wanted to auto orient a 3d layer towards the camera and depending on my camera x position it would play a differnt spesific frame.

For example you could render 360 differnt angles of a 3d object in maya and then play these out in after effects. 1 frame for every degree you rotate the camera, thereby simulating a 3d object(at least on one axis). Just to clarify have a look a flash site i made with this in mind. http://www.samsung.d900.co.za

I’m pretty sure I’d have to write quite an extensive expression to realise this, but i’m just nnot sure if it’s even possible.

If you can give me any direction it would be awesome.

    Thanks.
    J
