play / convert .CINE file
I need to convert a .CINE file to .avi, .wmv etc. I have Windows and Mac systems and Sony Vegas 9, but not FCP. Is there a converter/player that can do this or do I have to request that the person that sent me the .CINE file export to one of these formats?

Quicktime pro should then let you export in a variety of flavours

I followed your instructions, purchased the Quicktime Pro upgrade for my Mac and found that I was able to quickly export to a large number of formats, including AVI. Thank you so much!
