Planning to upgrade: Radeon 7950 or GTX 670?
Hello everyone!
So I’m planning to upgrade my PC. I use Cinema4D a lot and as time goes by I find myself with scenes with more and more objects and complexity. As far as upgrading goes, I’m getting an i7 3770K, and now debating on which GPU to get. I understand GPUs are only ever used for viewport updates, and I need to upgrade from my 6850.
So, should I pick up a GTX 670 or a Radeon 7950. The Radeon has 3GB memory, which I think would be useful, but the 670 appears to have slightly better performance.What do you think?

I’m not familiar with the particular cards, but in general I advise people to go with nVidia, even though the ATI cards are usually faster, because nVidia tends to provide more reliable OGL drivers than does ATI.
