  • Placing clips from source without placing markers.

Right now I have a bunch of markers in my clips created during logging. These are there to mark significant changes in frame. They help tremendously when looking through clips. However whenever they are placed on the timeline the markers go with them and I end up having to delete them from the timeline. Is there a way when sending a clip from source to timeline to not have the markers go with it?

Go to Settings>Composer and turn off “Copy Source Markers”

I guess that can work. Though I was hoping there was some sort of toggle or modifier key that would let me make that decision on a clip by clip basis rather than a setting.

That would be nice. There are several binary type settings that would benefit from a modifier key to the process to allow the other setting state (pop-up locator/marker window for example).
