    Hello all;

    One thing I’ve noticed in inDesign is that when you place art it seems to be there forever. Meaning if I update the file and replace it, the old file is still listed as a link and actually draws under the new file briefly in a .pdf export. This is annoying to me and my customers and it make the file bigger than it needs to be.

    Is there anyway to delete the original file link? I can’t find it. I’m still on CS (CS2 is in the wings but I am grandfathering some files right now)

    TIA,
