My footage shot on the Panasonic DVX 100B it totally pixeled on the colors RED. Everything else of all other colors looks fine but the reds are really bad. I used the easy set up with my Final Cut 5 system on my G5 Dual 2 Ghz. system and set it up to capture DV NTSC Anamorphic. 29.97. Pretty standard issue stuff but i have never seen this. I am also using a Firewire LeCei Drive and a G-Raid drive??? Got any advice??

    Ben,

The DV codec just sucks the heck right out of red and adds horrendous artifacts too. I had abeautiful high rez still of a book cover with red titles that looked like complete garbage after rendering to DV. Later, after uprezing the entire project to 10-bit the book cover was flawless.
