Pixelated footage
My footage looks great on the tape, but when I capture it into FCP HD, it becomes quite pixelated. Also, it has some noise that is not on the original footage. Any suggestions as to what’s causing this?

No, I finally figured out that it will just look bad on a computer monitor, but fine on a TV monitor. Thanks for responding, though!
