Pixel Aspect Ratio Help
I rendered a quicktime clip from After Effects with the following configurations:
NTSC DV (720×480)
D1/DV NTSC (0,9)
29,97I imported the clip into a final cut projet and I placed it into a compatible sequence (the settings done auitomatically):
NTSC DV (3:2)
CCIR 601/ DV (720X480)The image I see in the Final Cut viewer and canvas is squashed (things look thinner). The clip exported from this sequence looks fine, I was wondering if i´m doing something wrong.

Use the AE preset for NTSC DV and you’ll be fine in FCP

I am using the NTSC DV preset on AE and I see the image in the final cut visializer and canvas squashed. Is this supposed to happen? Because [even though the render out of FC looks ok]it is a bit distracting to edit and visualize the work when it is squashed (I´m working with graphic animation).

Click view menu in FCP browser and canvas and make sure Pixel Aspect Ratio correction is o n
