Piston control of Crane via Xpresso
Dear All,
Its “bashing my head against the wall time” again.
I am attaching a file with a piston driven crane which is set up to move a light weight LED wall for a pitch I’m making for a certain touring artist. I can xpresso everything I want EXCEPT that I can’t figure out how to rig the crane to elevate.
I want to add a user date of “Up / Down” and have the crane rigged so that the two pistons and the arms move as linked. I’ve tried connecting hinges (but I can’t get them to do anything but go red). I’ve thought about an IK chain through the two arms, but how then would I connect the pistons?Any help, will, as always be most gratefully received.
