I need to do a wipe like at the end of the Pirates of the Caribbean ads. When they transition from the final action scene to the logo slate, they use a torch whooshing by and the flame takes up the whole screen for 15 frames or so. I need to duplicate this somehow, but all my attempts have failed so far. I’d even be willing to use an old Toaster still “flame” wipe. Any ideas?

Would you happen to have access to After Effects? It will be much easier to do the above in that application.

Yes. Our After Effects machine has gone down. But I can install it on another temporarily.

Man! I found an Eyewire sample disc here at work of nothign but Fire clips. I could use a few of these. But they’re tiny QTs. I have several other corporate Eyewire discs if anyone would like to trade for the Fire disc.
