  Pirated Chinese Audio Gear

  I guess this has been happening for a few years, but I just learned that there are knock off Shure microphones floating around.

  I found out from a sound guy after just purchasing a new Shure shotgun mic from ebay. I’ll have to open it up and check it for signs of a fake.

  I found articles and even a video on YouTube showing some fake sm58’s. Just giving you a heads up when buying used gear.
