    Hello all,

I put my color space in 16bpc and the clipped highlights show pink/purple pixels. i thought they were just warning, but when I render them out, they show up still. They don’t show in 8 bpc. i tried other projects I have, but with teh same result. After effects CS5.5 Picture is attached.

What kind of footage are you using? Any effects applied?

Thanks for the reply. No effects or color grading. It looks like it might be a DNxHD issue. No matter what flavor (36-175 10 bit), the same clipping purple, blue, pink pixels occur. Animation codec and Cineform codec there’s no issue.
Any ideas what DNxHD is doing this? 8 bit is fine though.

    Thank you!

I am having same problem. Are you using files from hyperdeck shuttle2 captured in dnxhd.mov format and are you on a windows machine?
