the year 2005. I am trying to take a number of video slips and place them in the number 2005; sort of like the Time magazine covers where they make an image out of their previous covers. I don’t need them to be that specific. I am not looking for a way to choose different a shots placement due to its color or luminance. What I want is to take my clips and shape them into the numbers 2005.

Is there a program or plug-in that might accomplish this or do I need to keep working with the masks that I have built?

    I am on 6.5.

Why not make a photo montage?

Create a graphic that you want your images to be in, then use AE to make jpg sequences from some of your video clips (like 5 frames a second is plenty). This will give you THOUSANDS of images which is good. Use MacOSaiX to create a montage from the folder of thousands of images to look like your graphic.
