    Hi Folks,

I’m creating a semi slide show comprised of both stills and video for a graduation at my daughter’s school. At the end, I’d like to display each graduate on the screen with their name. Maybe do some other fancy thing (such as cross fading their baby picture as well.) Ultimately, I’d like to do two things: first, display a single kid with their name, then scale that image down and move it to a grid-like display of all the kids (sans name.)

My problem is, I can’t fit all the kids on one single screen (unless I make the images really tiny.) In years past I simply displayed the grid and only placed 6-7 kids per screen, which resulted in 3 screens having to be created (and cross faded.)

So I’m wondering if anyone here has any suggestions of what to do, or how to do it. Sort of like seeing what others have done. Has anyone ever thought of creating a web site containing samples of movie credits (that you’ve created)? I think it’ll be fun to watch what other creative minds came up with.

    Ideas anyone?

If the small pictures of the kids looked like they were placed into individual frames of a film strip that was slowly drifting from right to left, you could place each large picture down into a single frame that happened to be blank as it came across the screen. You could have three strips with the middle one drifting in the opposite direction.

It could take a while to set it up, but you might have fun with it.
