picture viewer wont open file
So i use cinema 4d everyday for modeling and trying new things. So i have this problem totally out of the blue. Every time i try and to make a preview of an animation sequence the picture viewer has an error saying that picture viewer cant load file. Upon tracking down the file in the suggested directory i find that the preview.mov is actually there and works when opened in quick time. The render to picture viewer function works fine but not when you are doing an sort of animation.
I also tried to render very simple things like 90 frames of a primitive cube spinning but it didn’t help.I have reinstalled cinema 4d numerous times hopping that it would fix it but it didn’t work. then i ran a disk utility on my computer didn’t fix it.
I am running on a macbook pro 2.5 ghz dual core 2 4 gigs of ram and GeForce 8600M GT 512mb graphics card.

I’m not familiar with the problem but it sounds like it could be quicktime problem. Have you tried rendering to a bitmap sequence?

so i tried a hardware preview and open gl prview and i also tried the compression of the full render at animation codex the jpeg png and no compression with no results. they all are made but nothing gets made in my picture viewer
ALso if the problem was with quicktime wouldn’t it not work with in the quick time player as well
I am really stumped here
