pics in final cut pro
what is the best way to import a picture in fcp? i use photoshop files and the edges of the text look jagged with dvcpro 50 compression. is there a better way?

When you’re in Photoshop, might try doing all of the resizing of a picture clip there, and NOT in FCP. Make it the same size as your sequence settings. Resizing is a lot better in Photoshop than it is in FCP.

Agreed. Any time I create something in Photoshop that is going into my FCP timeline, I make sure that all adjustments are made in PS not FCP, unless it’s simple movements that I can animate in FCP.
