October 3, 2008 at 2:44 amI am in the process of creating a new website but am not to familiar with dreamweaver to build it. I am building all my pages in photoshop and wanted to know the best way to get them into dreamweaver. Should I build all the pages and import the elements into dreamweaver over a base template that is sliced, or build the pages and slice individually? I am having a colleague put the site together in dreamweaver and manage it, but I am building the files. What is the best way to go about this if I want to give him the files to put the site together in dreamweaver? Also, If I am building a page in photoshop that is larger than the canvas vertically, (Say 1024×1100) should I just extend the canvas in photoshop and build the page than import the elements into dreamweaver? any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

April 21, 2021 at 3:52 pmHi Kevin, Dreamweaver is not the easiest web design tool to use but it is one of the best with options to create with limits. It does take some time to get use to the interface with hours of looking at tutorials.
When you look at the competition like WordPress it is a no brainer to use Dreamweaver as amount of page code is a major factor in page speed and therefore page rank.
