Photoshop scanning issue
I use an Epson 3170 scanner with Photoshop CS, on a G5 Mac. Was scanning some old photographs, when I noticed that the output from the scanner was slightly squeezed (compressed left to right). Photoshop is set for square pixels. Is there anything else besides the pixel proportions that could produce this problem?

Has nothing to do with Square pixels…
Do a preview scan, then retry scanning an image… better yet scan a perfect circle then use the measure tool to check it
