  Photoshop distorting graphic layers after save

  I’m having problems where a Photoshop file I have seems to be adding design elements on its own. I will save the PSD file and when I return to it later on, there are strange lines and digital glitches merged down onto my graphic layers and various vertical lines. I don’t think this could be a graphics card issue because this issue has been noticed on multiple machines.

  This particular PSD file was saved without this line across the top. The next time this file was opened the bar across the top was merged down onto a graphic layer in the PSD.
  

  After painting out that bar, this file was saved again and another issue appeared on a different part of the PSD file.
  

  After painting out this issue still another issue came up on the next save.
  

  Any ideas would be much appreciated.
