Photoshop CS5 .tiff NO RGB info
Hey All,
I have been having a strange problem with .tiff files that were delivered to me by a client that will not show any RGB information in photoshop CS5. The files are RGB color and 16bit/channel.
When the same exact file is opened in CS4 everything is all normal with RGB info and all…
Does anyone have any idea whats happening here?

Were they saved as a TIFF with layers, or a flat TIFF? I don’t know who/what/where/when/why people would use a TIFF with layers but it seems to be more of a problem than useful for me.

TIFF with layers exactly same as PSD feature for feature
Does allow compression on save

I stopped using psd files right since tiff allows layers. It takes a little longer to save them, but they use less space on the hard drive. It sort of removed a step from my previous workflow.
