I’m not sure if there have been other posts related to the new feature in PS CS2, but just curious if anyone has been able to get the new video preview to work with any of the IO boxes (i.e. LA, LD, or full IO). If so, how does one set it up?

Hey Lex. The video out of photoshop cs2 is only for dv sources. ALthough the io family uses the firewire pipe, it does not send or receive a standard dv signal to/from it’s firewire port. You can use a dv deck to monitor the photoshop cs2 output.

    But there is a way…
“Echo Fire” supports the IO to output out of Photoshop.
I only tried it briefly the other day, but it seemed to work.

    Hope this helps.

Used Echofire on previous version of PS, but seemed to make the app crash periodically. Haven’t bothered installing for CS2 yet.
