The “Lee Child” part, right?

There are three or four layer effects there:

1) Bevel with only highlights, no shadows

2) Inner glow (light)

3) Drop shadow that is larger blur radius than distance

4) (Maybe) a dark outer glow in addition to the shadow

Also, the text shows the background image on it. This may be achieved by decreasing the fill opacity of the layer (which is a separate control from the layer opacity, found inside the effect settings dialog).
