Photoshop 12.1 won’t open .jpg files
When I try to open a jpg, I get an error message in Photoshop, saying there’s not enough RAM. I have 16GB RAM, so I doubt that’s the problem.
If I use Preview to convert the file to any other format (TIFF, jpeg 2000, whatever) Photoshop reads it fine.
According to the adobe updater, I’ve got the most current everything.
I’m also running Lion.
Any ideas what’s going on here? I’d love a solution!

Try repairing permissions (Disk Utility). If that’s not it, try a clean re-install of Photoshop.
