I’m working with an HD project (1080p) that incorporates a variety of photos and scans.

Problem is, on some of them (particularly newspaper scans), I’m seeing a lot of strobing when I do moves on the image. I didn’t scan a lot of these (and they come from a wide variety of sources). Is there a particular filter I can throw on this to stop that problem?

Try the Flicker Filter in the Video folder of Video Effects. Also, simply applying some blur also works.
