    Hello,

I’m working in a slightly archaeic After Effects version 5 on PC.
I have a lot of photos that I need to do zoom’s and pans with.

once i drag them to my composition, they all appear to be streched about 10% vertically. if i double click the photo in the composition viewer, it pops up in a window at its natural aspect ratio.

    what gives? 🙂

    thanks,
    Ross

It sounds like you don’t have pixel aspect ratio (PAR) correction turned on in the comp window. I don’t remember AE5 well enough to know what the option looks like, but there should be a button at the bottom of the comp window that turns it on and off. Either that or an option in the comp window’s pop-out menu.
