PhotoJPEG Banding in CS5 AE
We typically output QT movies for our stock footage library using PhotoJPEG at 95% quality. Never had a problem…until now. CS5 is giving us fits with banding problems. Here is a comparison between the CS4 and CS5 output (you will have to look closely to see the banding, however, it is very obvious when viewing the HD image at 100%):
We see this problem with all PhotoJPEG quality settings including 100%. All projects are set at 16bit color. No differences in the output module settings. Any thoughts?
