Personal tuition sought
I am almost a complete novice at film making but nevertheless I have produced a short film and it’s come out quite well and has even won a few small prizes. I now want to enter it for a bigger festival and this time it needs to be perfect. I am almost totally self-taught in FCP and aware that there are lots of gaps in my knowledge and equipment and “muddling through” is no longer good enough. I need help with ensuring that the quality is the best possible and fulfilling the technical specifications required by the festival and also some tips on how to organize and backup my work.
I think a few hours one-to-one would be enough. I live in the West London area but can travel. -

If you pay my travel expensive I will train you for free, even give you a full day of training of FCP as well as compressor and DVDSP.

i think we all have gaps in our knowledge somewhere (today mine was figuring out how to use the multicam feature in a way that it was not designed for!) and i’m certainly no leading authority on FCP. However i have been using it for 4 years and have cut BBC broadcast docs and biggish feature films with it so perhaps i can help you out?email me at matthemail-forums@yahoo DOT CO DOT UK and we can exchange numbers.
