  Performance questions…

  I have been working on a Apple Powerbook utilizing FCP HD for a few months and I am considering th option of a mobile Avid Xpress HD system to cut my work so that the translation back into the Adrinaline will be seamless, unlike what I have experienced with FCP.

  What are the facts that one should bear in mind when cutting both DVCAM and miniDV in the field?

  As a side note, I am most interested in the Apple version, but if the need is there to use a Windows maching I’m fine with that. Compatibility is the main point of order.
