    Dear fellow editors and colorists!

Can someone confirm rendering times and overall performance is better on K620 / K1200, compared to their gaming counterparts (I mean gaming cards with similar prices, like GTX 960, 970 etc.)?
I mean, for a person who doesn’t do any 3D at all, does it really make a difference? I’m only rendering from Premiere Pro / Encoder, with basic color corrections for a local TV. No need for a high end graphics card or complex AE effects.

A GTX 9XX-model will mop the floor with those low powered Quadros. That said you probably don’t need either for what you do.

So, Quadros are like diesel or something?:D

There are cheaper low lever Quadros and then there are Quadros that are insanely powerful and cost more than a car. Just because it says Quadro on it doesn’t make it a powerful card.
