  • Perfect Circle warps when Rotated

I’ve run into this problem a few times when trying to rotate a circle on the Z axis, as if it’s turning around and around. I used the “Pan Behind Tool” to move the anchor point to the middle of the circle, but when I rotate it, it starts to look like an oval toward the middle of the rotation and then moves back to a perfect circle near the end of the rotation. Any ideas what’s wrong?

I’m going to guess: its the PAR (Pixel Aspect Ratio) of your Comp. What happens when you click the Toggle Pixel Aspect Ratio Correction button?

That was it! I switched to square pixels in the Comp settings, and the circles rotate properly. Thanks!
