    Hi There,

I have a problem, i am making a teks writing on a schoolboard.

I looked at the tutorial from Aaron Rabhinowiz, but that wont help me.
This is what i am making :
    schoolbord249.png

I just type the words and use the auto trace for the text.
Second u used the stroke effect on the autotrace layer (works good)

Meaning is, i think you allready knwo, first write the text SPEOD, then the pen makes the border around all, then the scribblle effcet and the pan animated fills the white border so the text SPEOD appears.

so far so good, everything works fine.

But the problem starts if i add a pen or Chalk image.
I just do like Aaron said, i copy the maskpath from my auto trace tekst (spoed) 1st mask path. And went to the position of my pen/chalk and paste it, and then my system freeze out and i have to start the system over, and begin again.

I dont no any option how to make the pen follow the path of the text writing.

Could someone can help me or have any other way’s to do it, i really suck at making paths with pentools, and it has to look very good like the image, please help need to be finesh tommorow (monday)

Sounds to me like you’re using closed paths to define the movement. That would cause an error I think. Needs to be an open path if I’m not mistaken.

Also consider just manually moving the pen around using key frame and tweak the motion paths if your AAe keeps crashing. You may have a corrupted instal.
