PDF’s and JPEG’s
Hello,
I have a whole bunch of PDF files that I need to import and use the pan and zoom effect on in AVID. I used the MAC Preview tool to convert the files to JPEG. Once the files are converted they lose the quality. Once I up the resolution on them, AVID tells me “Exception: Cannot open file”. Do I have to import them using a certain resolution?

You imported first, cut it into the timeline, added the pan & zoom effect, then from within the effect you tried accessing the higher resolution file and from there get the error?

Yes, exactly. The image quality is severely diminished.
