Pdf in dvd menu
Is there anyway of having a button in encore to launch a pdf file if the dvd is played on a computer?
Any help would be much appreciated. -

Not with Encore alone. You can add the PDF in the ROM folder, and then provide the viewer with instructions on how to access it.

I was under the assumption that this was possible. So this program cannot make a generic ‘VTS’ number similar to DVD Studio Pro?

Or you can get eDVD. You add the PDF’s to the encore project via DVD-ROM content. Once you are finished with your DVD, you need to build it as a DVD Folder.
Once finished, there will be a VIDEO_TS folder in this Master DVD Folder. You will use this as your Video_TS for your eDVD project. The chapter points show up in eDVD and you can link them to HTML’s, or documents that are opened upon clicking the button by the user.
