    Hi guys – I need help, im imigrating from Avid to Apple, what Apple’s do we need for high Definition productions, one editor is cutting out and another one the editing, what do we need for high performance editing on Apple, what must i buy? Is a network setup require for this, we finish with pc…

    Hi Tom, I’m completely on PC @ the moment,I want to buy new Macs, to edit HD footage, what can you recommend, I’ve struggle to much on PC, and now I want to do go Apple, Final Cut Pro.

    Tom is asking you what HD format are you working with? What cameras do you shoot with and what format do you want to edit in?

    HD comes in many flavors and formats these days.

    Thank you 🙂 We use the Sony Z1 and sony Z5 camera, and also might use the Canon 5D – I’m using on Avid Liquid MPEG 2 format currently…

    i’m not sure what you asking? We deliver to DVD & Blu Ray

    I’m asking what your end product is. Your needs are very different if you deliver to theatrical release on film or DCP vs TV vs YouTube.
