    Hello All,
This is a highly talked about for years, but I have yet to find a solution for me.

I’m a PC After Effects User. Have many clients who are passing off pro res content to me. It is a much bemoaned fact online that After Effect causes gamma shifts when it decodes Pro Res. In all my searches I’ve discovered only two solutions:
    1. Export the file back out to Pro Res
    2. Export content back out to YUV uncompressed 8/10 bit

But both these only work on a MAC.

The Fact that both have a YUV color space makes me think that is a direction to think….but I don’t know any YUV output options on PC.

I use PR Helper for PC to create Pro Res files, so that is not a problem. PR Helper causes no major gamma shift. The problem resides in After Effects Pro Res Decoding for sure. But I need an uncompressed intermediate codec in PC based After Effects that doesn’t muck up my outputs.

Thanks to anyone who can help.
