    Hi,

I’m quite new when it comes to video, but I own P.Pro 1.5 and when I want to export a video that look really good once captured, then the final result really look bad. As sson as it’s moving you can see lines everywhere (I repeat that the original AVI is good).
I tried to export in mepg2DVD, mpeg2…. even avi… but each time it looks bad, on my TV or my PC.
What should I do? I wasn’t use to install some codecs, so should I install some?
Please thank you for your help.

Could be a field issue (horizontal lines). What are the properties of your source video? (File>Get Properties for…) Was it a DV camcera?

    Hi,
If you are using dv footage use dv preset when you open an poject or avi project otherwise. While exporting check under settings, what compressor you are using “none” is best to maintain quality.
But your system should be capable enough to playback an uncompressed avi file.
If working with dv, you can easily export back to “microsoft dv avi” and compressor as dv PAL/Ntsc as the case may be. not dv24 unless your source is dv 24.
ps: keep lower field first for dv sources
