paused/stopping dvd
Hello All,
I own a tower G4 (733Mhz)with 768 ram and 74.4 harddrive(10G available). I ‘ve made dvd(idvd) before and I haven’t received a complaint, but I recently made a idvd(3) and the recepient says they all stutter at different parts of dvd. I know of one that played fine the first time played, but now it stops. I tried different media and did a dvd from toast. All stopped at different points. I’ve been told my system may be slow(I get a lot of spinning wheels). I’ve also been told that I should try a 3gig dvd(less prone to stuttering, etc.) The last time I tried to do another idvd, ittook two days and then crashed. I cleaned my internal and external drives and ran nortons. I have some problems, but I’m not sure what. Oh, and the client and potential jobs are waiting. I’m wondering if I should just upgrade and get a G5, since I’ll need the power and speed. Help, help, help! -
