  Pattern designs, specs on submissions

  This may be the wrong place to post, I’ll be happy to repost if redirected…

  I have had interest in designing patterns for fabric, giftwrap, wallpaper, etc. I think my Mom would be great at this too. Does anyone know how and to whom you submit these designs? It seems more complicated than just making a pdf because the designs have to match up and sometimes have irregular edges to do this. I suspect you submit to textile companies?
