paths coming but wat about color & bg? illustrator to ae
hello sir/ mam
i am having a problem i would be very thankful if someone help me out,
actually the thing isi am having .eps file in illustrator( cs4) & i want to make some motion graphic so i want to take it to ae (cs3) now i m copying paths (after clicking on (aicb), till here no problem i m coping path to ae in new solid, but i want .eps file colors & background & same design, but i am only getting paths in ae & getting only the color of solid which im talking on ae. so please help me out
i want same colors & design with paths as a vector image only
os :- xp 32 bit
ram:- 4 gb
graphic card :-nvidia 9800 gt 1gb -

Copying and pasting paths from AI doesn’t bring appearance attributes (fill, stroke, etc). In fact, copying and pasting paths also works from Photoshop and other Adobe applications which don’t have these attributes.
You can get AI artwork with appearances when you import such file, rather than paste paths from AI.
