Path for text
What is the best way to create a 3d path for my text to follow, I want it to slide in from one side, at an angle like its moving with something from the clip its a part of and then turn and slide back away from the camera. When I create a mask for the text it seems like I can only create it in a 2d plane which doesn’t give me look I want of the text exiting toward the back of the clip…..my inspiration is the intor credits to cradle to the grave, I will try and find a link later when I have time.

It all depends on the actual path, some are impossible to accomplish. Here’s a tutorial from Eran Stern that should provide some clues for you.
