path as reference
can we use path as reference?
eg,
lets say that i want camera to move, and oriented to path
or just make null object to move along the paththank

there doesn’t seem to be a way to have an expression access data from a path.
you can ‘attach’ a layer to a path by selecting the mask’s ‘mask path’ in the timeline and copy/pasting it into the layer’s position property.
the layer/object should then follow the path. you can adjust the timing by moving the keyframes.
if you wanted the object to orient along the path, you could then choose layer>transform>auto orient and choose ‘along path’.
