Pasting to a different track

Hold down Shift-Option and then DRAG the clip to another track.
It will stay on the first track untouched and also copy itself to the second track.

you can paste to any track using the “autoselect” for targeting … option click on the autoselect icon for the track you wish to target then place your cursor to mark the in point, and paste
the autoselect icon is the one directly to the right of the track’s padlock (track lock) icon
