  • Pasting clips above other clips?

When I copy clips from one timeline to another, FCP always puts the pasted clip(s) at the bottom of the stack. When I’m pasting graphics like lower thirds I’d really like to drop them on top. Is there a way to do this?

    Thanks!

It used to work that way, but for some reason it changed in… 10.0.06 I think. Send feedback to Apple (I have) because video pastes really should go above existing clips

Yes, I’m still on 10.0.4 and all clips get pasted above at the point of the playhead. All I seem to do at this point is to paste lower 3rds and it works without fail.

    Thanks, Charlie and Dave-

It’s good to know it’s not me. Filing feedback now.
