If I paste at the end of the audio clip, Audition decides I must want an arbitrary fade in applied to what I pasted instead of just pasting exactly what I copied. Is there a setting I can change so it will paste exactly what I copied?

If I paste it in the middle of the audio clip, it will paste exactly what I copied, but if I paste it at the end of the file it adds a fade-in that I don’t want.

I have used zero crossings to adjust the selections, so what I’m pasting starts at a zero crossing, and the original clip ends at a zero crossing, so I would like to hear for myself how well it matches up without the fade applied.
