  • Particular /layer grid emitter – particles popping on and off when emitter moves

    Hi all,

is there a way to emit particles from an animated b/w layer (using luma), without having the particles pop off when the animation animates? ie, an area is white thus particles are being emitted), but when the animation moves and this area becomes black, the particles suddenly disappear, instead of staying where they were born and living out their life.

did i explain that well enough?

    thanks!
    scott.

Set “Layer RGB Sampling” to “At Birth”.
